Hi. Can I use this adapter to connect a second monitor to my Imac 27 2017 via USB-C with the HDMI cable and use both monitors? Will this then only be mirrored or can I work with both monitors? I need this in the recording studio. My 2nd monitor is an HP Z27. Thank you for an answer.

This works tiptop! With this adapter you can use a second monitor without any problems. You can then decide for yourself in the system settings of your iMac whether the external screen is mirrored or expanded.
