Question about i-tec Dualdock

Hi, I have a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme 20MF001DMZ (with... nVidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti) and was wondering if this dock is compatible? I am thinking of connecting two 4k displays (DisplayPort). Actually it should be, since USB-C/DisplayPort/HDMI/LAN/... are standards that you either meet or you don't. And this ThinkPad at least claims that it does (2x USB-C, resp. Thunderbolt 3). However, I have heard/read that the Lenovo X1 Extreme has its own standards here, i.e. it is only compatible with the Lenovo WorkStation Dock 230W?

Thunderbolt 3 can do this https://thunderbolttechnology.net/sites...
With TB3 you can connect 2 monitors.
But beware TB3 cannot do hub star distribution. TB3 does daisy chaining. That's why good TB3 peripherals have 2 TB3 ports for daisy chaining.
If the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 does not support Thunderbolt, install the correct drivers first. If the Lenovo then cannot do TB3, return the device. Thunderbolt is a standard. Lenovo must comply with / deliver it.

This is not a Tunderbolt dock. Docks for Thunderbolt from i-tec here https://i-tec.cz/de... It is a waste to use a port for Thunderbolt 3 only for USB. Thunderbolt 3 can

Install the right drivers.
