Hi, I would like to back up my Synology NAS (10.8 TB according to Synology Storage Manager) to this "offsite" by mounting this disk in an ext. enclosure and then connecting it to the USB port. Then copy everything over to Synology File Station. Is that possible?

If the external enclosure supplies enough power, I don't see a problem. I rather treated myself to the Synology C2 cloud storage. Then created a job in HyperBackup and now live worry-free. The backup is encrypted locally and then uploaded to the C2 Cloud.
