How are MP3 files on a USB stick displayed or played? Do I see the names of the files and the file structure? So far I have been disappointed by most devices: they only show numbers for the folders and the files. Is there even a sorting according to artist, album etc.?

The order is displayed as I have saved it.
By pressing the INFO button, you can select what else you want to have displayed in addition to the song name. Do you want the album, the artist, the complete path, etc.?
I am not aware of a sorting option on the unit itself.
