According to Amazon, the battery is charged by the power supply unit of the Brother machine.
The battery must be installed in the machine and then connected to the power supply via the mains adapter.

Yes, the battery can be installed in the bottom of the unit, but it is also possible to install about 6 to 8 normal rechargeable batteries. While the machine is connected to the mains, the battery can be charged. I got a Brother P750 yesterday, but I think that because it's so handy right now, it's all the more portable if I use it without a mains power supply. With the battery, you can go into control cabinets, for example, without getting up and print labels again at the table. What hasn't quite worked yet is WLAN printing via iPhone.
