According to instructions:
A4: 50 sheets (80 g/m²)
Legal: 30 sheets
Automatic double-sided document feeder

According to the data sheet, it is a "50-sheet ADF" which is then well loaded. But then double-sided is no problem.
I have already scanned 30 pages this way.

The max mark of the paper tray in the scanner is approx. 5 mm high, no idea how many pages that is. Sanner has an automatic paper feeder, scans on both sides if desired.
