I am at KV Basel. But I'm not sure if this counts as a "state-recognised public or private general or vocational school". Does anyone who is at a KV have this?

"State-recognised" is any training institution whose degree is not only usable within the company and is not supervised by anyone. Thus, a KV training centre is of course state-recognised.

As long as you can obtain a confirmation of enrolment in PDF form from your school, you should have no problems.
