I am reading everywhere that you cannot use the microphone while using "pure direct" stereo (all filters off). Does this mean that sidetone (microphone monitoring) cannot be used, or really that the whole microphone input will be disabled, meaning that you cannot voice chat while using pure direct?

I'd need to check this, but for microphones I actually prefer the enhancements (volume boost and background filtering).
