I bought the camera and installed it. Although it is absolutely quiet in the room, I hear a very loud background noise during the live stream. Is that the same for you?

Yes, it's the same with the camera I bought about 5 years ago. I think it has to do with the sensitivity of the microphone in order to record as much noise as possible. It's not great, but it's probably standard with this product.
