Question about RØDE SC7 TRS to TRRS cable

I bought the Microphone Go from Rode and this SC7 adapter cable. Unfortunately it doesn't work on my mobile phone, but I want to use it on my iPhone with a Lightning adapter. Can anyone tell me why it doesn't work despite the adapter cable? Do I have to make a change in the setup on the iPhone?

I use the cable with an iPhone 6 and it works without any problems without any special settings. Do you have the possibility to test the cable on another iPhone? I have installed iOS version 12.5.1 and am using the Rode Wireless Go. Sorry, that's all I can say about it.
