Question about Seagate IronWolf

I bought the Seagate IronWolf (4 TB, 3.5", CMR) a while ago and have only now been able to install it. No matter what I do, the hard drive is not recognised by the mainboard or the system (neither BIOS, therefore not Windows). I have also tried using an external hard drive adapter to format it, but to no avail. Does anyone know what the reason for this could be? And because it's now unpacked, Digitec probably won't take it back, will it?

It sounds more like a defect. You can open a service case at Digitec, they will help you. (https://www.digitec.ch/de...)

Is free of charge as long as the warranty period (36 months) is not exceeded.
