I bought the Sennheiser Game Zero headset. I've noticed that my sound card in my computer is pretty lousy. Would the Creative Sound BlasterX G6 be the best solution to make the most of my new headset?

Also a very good choice for a headset. I have the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 myself and use the Creative Sound BlasterX G6 in front. Even without SW (driver & EQ) installed on the PC, the sound quality is excellent and definitely gives off enough power to drive even the most demanding headphones. So I think your combo would also fit well. With the Creative driver SW installed, you can configure everything to your own taste (surround, EQ, etc.). Have fun.
