Question about Apple AirPods (2nd Gen.)

I bought these AirPods as a headset for Zoom calls on my Windows 10 PC. Although the audio output sounds fine, the system doesn't seem to pick up the audio input from the microphones. Does anyone know if this is a settings issue, or they're just incompatible?

The problem is that windows detects the airpods as a combination device. That means it detects the mic and the sound output separately. You can use the mic with no sound at the current time, but you can't use both at once. You need an adapter like Jabra or something similiar. I would suggest to google a bit, there are lot of threads about it.
