I bought this Icy Box and attached it to my laptop (HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs0800nz). Everything worked except the monitor. The monitor is 15 years old so I also bought the BenQ GW2480 monitor from digitec. Now neither HDMI nor VGA runs through the Icy Box. How can I connect everything, what am I doing wrong? By the way, I haven't connected a power cable, I let the box be powered by the PC via USB-C.

Hello Navigator82, I bought the same one and just tried it on the TV with the HDMI, plugged into the Icy Box, it worked without any problems, I just had to set the TV to this cable and then it was possible without an extra power supply for the Icy Box, so only via USB power supply via the laptop. I can't tell you about VGA, because I don't have such a screen. Try it out on the TV like I did, they all have HDMI nowadays, otherwise hmm if everything doesn't work it could well be that the fault lies with your Icy Box, difficult to say.
