I bought this mainboard about 2 years ago and today for the first time I could no longer boot Windows. At first I thought it was a fault with Windows itself, but after a few tests I found that the fault probably lies with the mainboard. I am stuck either with the logo of the mainboard or the logo of Windows. The PC could not boot from the boot stick and I can't get into repair mode. I also tried booting Windows from another hard drive and that didn't work either. I can get into the Bios and have tried all possible settings there. The error codes on the mainboard (78 and 61) didn't help me either. I've already done a Bios update and reset the mainboard, changed the Cmos battery etc.. I'm at a loss at the moment, does anyone have any more ideas, or perhaps some advice on how I can be sure that the mainboard is defective? I am using the following components: -Gigabyte z390 aorus master -i7 8700k -Nvidia Gtx 1080 -16gb g-skill 3200mhz ram -m.2, 500gb

Helpful answer

I have already experienced a few times that my PC would not boot and I always got back into the Bios. I always solved the problem by unplugging and plugging in my RAM sticks and SSD of my PC. If that doesn't work, I don't know what else to do.
