I bought this one to replace the old AMD Radeon RX 6600XT. The old one only had one plug for the connection to the power supply unit (socket). The new one has 3 such sockets so that it can be connected to the power supply unit. I am now wondering whether it is enough to connect one cable to the power supply and another one that splits "in the front" (for the new graphics card so that all 3 sockets are supplied) or do I have to connect 3 "individual cables" directly to the power supply? sorry, first project like this :)

Helpful answer
Three individual cables for connecting the power supply and GPU would be recommended. Have a look in the packaging of your power supply unit. It will certainly contain the appropriate three cables.

Hello,
Splitting a power cable is never the best solution. 3 individual cables will limit the overheating of the cables.
You should also check the power of the power supply, for this kind of GPU 700w is recommended 😉 Good games! And the card is top 👌
