I currently have a Logitech Signature M650 L and am very happy with it. The keyboard is from a different brand and I'm toying with the idea of replacing it. Question: If I buy a new separate keyboard from Logitech, can it also be connected to the PC via the existing mouse connection? Thank you for your constructive feedback.

yes, if the mouse and keyboard are both unifying,
the m650l is also Bluetooth

Yes, you can. Just get the pairing dongle software on Logitech
