Question about Belkin Soundform Connect AirPlay2
I don't understand the setup exactly. The connection to the stereo is clear to me, but: - How does the unit connect to the LAN/WLAN? I don't see any Ethernet. Do I have to configure the WLAN via USB-C and an installer cable? Or am I completely misunderstanding this? - How is the power supply? (My goal / idea: I hook the Belkin thing up to the input of my stereo system (mini-jack or optical audio out) and specify the Belkin part as the sound destination on my iPhone or Mac. Am I understanding the functionality completely wrong?)

The initial connection with the home network and the Belkin must be made via the smartphone (using the Belkin app or Apple Home). The whole thing is explained very simply in the operating instructions. After that, you can use the device as you described.
PS: I bought my father a device like this and he was able to install it himself without any problems.
