I got the controller today but it won't turn on with batteries in it (arranged as in the instructions), it won't work with the rechargeable battery of the old model either. If I connect the controller to the PC via cable, it works without any problems.

Does anyone know a solution to this or should I redeem the guarantee after just one day?
