I have a question for owners of this 2(!) metre USB-C cable (MLL82ZM/A): Does(did) the cable colour(s) like this (white) at the beginning? Is/was the cable also sticky after unpacking? I have one in front of me straight from the Apple Store and I think that's just not right...!

It was the same for me. It also stuck at the beginning, but this disappeared when I used the cable. I do not remember any white abrasion. The cable was bought here in the Online Shop.
