I have a question: I have an x370 mobo (Asus Crosshair VI Extreme) and was thinking of replacing my 1700 with a 3800x. Does anyone use the 3800x on an x370? If so, does it work properly?

Sorry about the English (!). I had this combo and it worked fine - but I did need to update my Bios.

According to the Support Page > CPU Compatibility, the 3800x is supported with BIOS version 7002 and higher.

For compatibility questions, it is always advisable to check the manufacturer's HP (CPU Compatibility, QVL etc). Only then can you be sure that it works.
