Question about Gigaset GO-Box 100

I have an older analogue Gigaset SL400 phone and station. Can I buy this Go-Box-100 station and use it to enter the appropriate SIP details on the Go-Box via a VOIP provider and connect my SL400 to it? Or does the handset also have to support GO/VOIP?

I can't try it out as I don't have an SL400 handset available, but I assume that making calls in this combination will work.
