I have read that there are connection problems with Macbooks. What's the status: Can I hook this monitor up to my 2019 Macbook Pro and get started right away, or should I be prepared for problems?

I have no problems at all. Just plug in via usb c and works like a dream. Although, you can notice a difference between using mac's 4k display and the image on lenovo
