Try connecting it via cable first and then find the printer on your system and then see if you can follow the wireless conecting promts.Should be fine,Can also check you tube videos on connecting Canon printers to a mac system wireless,Good luck.

I do indeed have that particular printer but I run it with win 11 Operating system with Wifi,runs well,I would imagine it would also work with mac,dont see why not,I advise you to ask someone else who may be running it on mac.Now days they should be compatable.With all systems I would imagine,just to be sure check further about that.
