You can tilt the angle of the stand by more than 90 degrees. In other words, you can place the iPad horizontally (like a table) or vertically (like a wall). Sorry for the awkward explanation, I hope that the question has been answered.

I have personally used it to film a concert. However, it is only suitable to a limited extent, because the stand quickly bobs a bit. Maybe you could just buy the "head" of the tripod and put it on a camera tripod for better stability.
