I ordered two from the current promotion and both ssd's are dead. Am I the only one who received exactly two dead bodies, or is there something wrong with the whole promotion?

Didn't get any 'dead' SSDs - but 2 out of 3 dropped dead / stopped working after 2-3 years ^^

In my case, the problem was that it was not yet activated in the disk management. Take a look there - it's best to maximise the window of the data carrier management (i.e. full screen). Then you should find your Kingston at the bottom

Have you already checked in BIOS/UEFI whether the SSD is recognised and only needs to be activated? That's probably the reason. My one Kingston runs AOK, although I would normally only buy Samsung or Intel.
