Question about Icy Box Ib-183m2

I purchased the ICY BOX IB-183M2 enclosure with 2x Intenso M.2 SSDs (128GB capacity) for eventual use on a Raspberrry Pi. However, under Windows 11, after initialization, only 1GB space is recognized (both SSDs show same behaviour). SSDs use AHCI protocol - so it this is not the MVMe issue mentioned by many others. Can't find a way to get the full 128GB recognized - so can't get my RPi image installed :-( Also, the screwdriver provided is useless for opening the unit (two very small screws at the end of the enclosure), and - in my case - the screw to hold the SSD in place was missing so I had to improvise ... If I can't get this to work, then I'll be returning the enclosure - but I have to identify an alternative first ... any suggestions?

I was able to do a search and possibly reformatting with ExFAT or NTFS could tell if the SSDs are then showing full capacity. Possibly check the partitions as well if not already done. Otherwise, as an alternative, I would have thought of this enclosure, which recognises both NVMe and SATA protocols:

Have also tried to initialize using a MacBook - same result - only 1GB visible
