I recently switched from a Google Wifi Mesh (1st Gen) to the latest Nest Wifi Pro router. I have Wingo Internet at home and with my Nest Wifi Pro directly connected I get a double NAT, which has a disastrous effect on my smart lights - no response, lights not accessible etc. So, to avoid the double NAT, I bought this thing here (also recommended by Wingo). But I can't get it to work with the Nest Wifi Pro. (the Nest router just can't reach the internet) Has anyone had a similar scenario and it worked?

Since the Nest Wifi Pro router is a pure router, without modem function, would a modem have to be added in between?
For your information, my idea is to remove the Wingo router to solve the double NAT problem.

It is also important to switch off the firewall / DMZ in the Wingo settings, otherwise you will receive a shared IP behind the Wingo NAT.

Works for me with FritzBox without any problems. It is important that you have a Gigabit Ethernet connection (blue fibre optic module) and not XGS-PON (red) - as the connection is shared with other users, only half a handful of routers validated by swisscom are possible. And your router must support vlan tagging (set vlan10); according to Google, not all of them do: https://support.google.com/googlenest...
