I wanted to know whether the mainboard has an active fan for cooling the M.2 SSDs and if so, whether this has ever caused any noise problems during operation.

Helpful answer

M2 SSDs are passively cooled. I have 2 Samsung 980 Pro in it, max 48°. The fan on the mainboard is only for the chipset.

Great board, for SSD M2 passive cooling, good cooling and satisfied. I have installed 2 Samsung 850evo, 1x for BS and a 2nd. Perfect
