I would like to combine Dynavox with 143 cd. Is there any experience with this? Are there any limits to the cable length between the two units ?

The device belongs locally directly to the amplifier. It replaces an existing FM tuner, for example. It can do everything the tuner can do and tons more. Large distances don't make sense because it can be controlled remotely. As far as the internet is concerned, a direct Ethernet connection with a cable to the router is better, but WLAN is also possible. The device is absolutely great, but I had to wait a long time for it.

If Dynavox means a power amplifier, the two units can be connected.
With a TOSLINK "cable" for the digital audio signal (Dynavox must have a TOSLINK socket).
Quote (thanks to Google):
Up to a length of five metres, transmission is possible without any problems. With cable lengths of more than five metres, it is possible that the signal will not arrive. In the device from which the audio signal comes, there is a diode that sends the light signal.

With a cinch cable for the analogue audio signal.
Quote (thanks to Google):
Asymmetrical cables such as cinch are specified for a maximum of 10m. With such a long distance, you're sure to get a hum loop.
