I would like to know if the stand is compatible with Audioengine A5+ loudspeakers, the width I have checked and it is within the limits of the stands, what is not clear to me is how the loudspeakers are fixed so that they do not slide forward.

They are clamped and optionally screwed. If you want to tilt the speaker forwards, the screw connection is probably mandatory.
Depending on the speaker, you may prefer not to do this.
