I'm not yet an SSD fan and I'm confused by the addition of NAS here - I think I could also use this SSD here for my workstation with raid 1, don't you?

The addition NAS only means that this SSD is suitable for 24/7 operation in the NAS. Of course, the SSD can also be used in a workstation.
