In the 3rd last picture it has a plug between the laptop and the USB-C cable. Does anyone know where it is from? It doesn't look like it's part of the product.

This is not part of the product. It looks like an adapter that measures the power supply like the powerbank.
But it's a separate product.

All you get with the battery is a storage/carrying case and a USB-C to C charging cable.
