it always depends on the intended use - I wouldn't use it as a video projector for long film nights either. on the other hand, the device is great as a small, handy projector for a one-hour presentation 😉

This beamer has HDMI input, but it is technically very mediocre, I would not advise to buy any cheap China made beamers, they are all suboptimal. And the technical specifications are usually not even accurate.
