Is it better to get an H110 or an H510? I'm in the middle of hesitation, because if I understand correctly this card has only 6 slots in total but is not expandable with Risers?

Helpful answer

The H510 is a motherboard without Risers, so it can't accommodate more than 6 GPUs effectively. If you want to use Risers, then the best option would be the H110 which will be compatible.

H110 chipset supports Intel 6th and 7th gen and has these short PCIe 2.0 x1 slots.
H510 chipset supports Intel 10th and 11th gen and has 6x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots. ( Windows 11 compatible incl. TPM ^__^ )

Risercards with PCIe x1 connector can also put them in PCIe x16 slots, it still works.
Basically, you can put anything into a PCIe x16 slot that is shorter.
