I often had this with the AirPods pro. With the Sony WF-1000XM4, there are still small differences, but these are only in the low single-digit percentage range between left and right. However, if a headphone draws so much more battery, this is usually an indication that it is not sitting correctly in the ear. This can lead to ANC trying to compensate for this and thus generate more "computing power", which ultimately results in significantly increased battery consumption.
