Is it possible to connect it to a Macbook Pro via bluetooth, without using the dongle? When reading the manual, it says that you can "pair" with an iPad, but the explanations for the Macintosh only give the solution with the USB dongle. The new MBP's don't have a USB connection, so I want to be able to connect it with the internal Bluetooth without any problems.

I don't think so - the dongle is really necessary for a quality connection, that's the whole point. At home, the dongle is connected to a USB hub. My BT experiences **without** the dongle were not up to the expected results (old macbook pro, or recent PC).
I've been using it for a while now and it's a great product. It's a great performance compared to the competition. It's a must-have for Skype for Business for example.
