is it possible to connect this to a Surface Studio? would like to replace the nVidia GeForce GTX 980M with a 1080.... is that possible? Thanks for the answer! :D

If the Surface Studio has a Thunderbolt 3 port, it works perfectly.
I use the DELL XPS 15 9575 myself. Just connect it, wait for the driver to be installed and attach the external monitor.

@Chaos.aa I am currently considering buying the XPS15 9575. Is it enough for Anno 1800 stand alone gaming and which card do you have installed in the Razer core X ? Did you buy another TB dock for the XPS for external mouse and keyboard ?
