Question about Pico 4 All-in-One VR Headset

Is it possible to establish a direct WLAN connection with a computer that has an integrated WLAN antenna? I have an ASUS Rog Crosshair Viii Dark Hero with Wi-Fi 6 / 802.11ax mainboard. In principle, a direct IP connection would certainly be possible? Or am I seeing this wrong? My computer is connected via LAN, so I don't need the WLAN. I only want to use the headset for Virtual Desktop.

Yes, that is certainly possible. In my case, however, this did not result in much better performance than when I connected to the wifi router via the network.
But it is possible. To make it work, you can run your internal wifi in hotspot mode, or simply run it as a wifi router.
Have fun. would like to know if it is performant enough.
