Is it still worth getting an i7 9700k these days or should I buy an i9, I need the pc for gaming?

Just today, the 3rd generation Ryzen were released. The Ryzen 7 3700x is just as good as the i9-9900k and much cheaper. Of course, the 9700k is perfectly adequate for gaming. In terms of price, I recommend the Ryzen 5 3600x, which is a good deal better than the i7-9700k at half the price.
