Is it true that these speakers automatically go into standby mode after a certain time or if there is too little signal for a short time? I had a previous model for over 10 years and fortunately this was not the case. If standby, then I can't buy them

no problem for me - if they go into stby at all, then they come out again themselves (when a signal comes) - I don't notice anything

No they don't, there is a button to turn them on and as long as you don't turn them off, they always stay on.

Unfortunately, I cannot judge this as I have never left the music system switched on for any length of time without a signal or with a signal that is too weak. The fact is that music amplifier systems consume more power when switched off than in standby mode, even without a signal. If the Z623 audio system were to automatically switch to standby after a long period without a signal, as is usual with other amplifier systems, I would find this useful.
