I switched from the G933 to the Pro X Lightspeed (because the G933 was giving me problems) and I am very satisfied. The battery lasts much longer and it is much more comfortable. Even though it's not much lighter, it feels much lighter (it presses much less on the head). However, the ear cups are a bit smaller (especially less deep). I didn't notice any serious differences in the sound quality. Hope this helps.

I don't know the G933. Before I decided on the Pro X, I had a G35 wired. The Pro X seems lighter - but I didn't compare weight - you could do that sometime. The 7.1 surround is virtual. I think it's okay, but the sound quality in general is not worth mentioning.
