Is the card suitable for running a Rode NT-1 through it? The Rode has an XLR connector, with an adapter a 6.3 mm jack or Thunderbolt. On the card itself I only see a 3.5 mm jack.

I use a Sennheiser HD-800 with 300 Ohm resistance with this sound card. I only had to reduce the 6.5 mm plug of the headphones to 3.5 mm with an adapter. The sound of the card is powerful and VERY good. I play all my sounds from HiRes files.

Yes, absolutely, but you need an appropriate adapter. I have a Rode NT with a USB plug, which is a bit more flexible.
