Is the docking station wi-fi compatible or do I need a cable? If not, is there a corresponding product that is wi-fi compatible?

The doc stations have a LAN connection, but they are never WLAN-compatible, because they are intended for laptops, which always have WLAN as well. So a WLAN adapter on a doc station doesn't really make sense?
