On the PC in any case. There, the shifter must always be connected via USB and used with a separate driver, regardless of the steering wheel. The manual says that a T248 also has a mini-Din connector for direct connection of a Thrustmaster shifter. This connector is only used with console operation (Playstation). So it should work with the Playstation.
