Is the insulation of the Define 7 and 7 XL actually the same as that of the R6 USB-C? If so, the description at Digitec is probably not correct...

Yes, it is insulated in the same way, practically only in the side flaps. But in contrast to the first generations, the insulation material no longer stinks up the place for weeks...
