Is the Logitech M185 compatible with Unifying? Is this mouse compatible with Unifying? The mouse is not inherently compatible with Logitech's Unifying receiver. It uses a pre-paired dedicated USB receiver that is not identical to the Unifying receiver.

The Logitech M185 is not compatible with the Unifying receiver. It uses its own pre-paired USB receiver, which is not identical to the Unifying receiver and therefore does not work with it by default. Technical reprogramming to pair it with a Unifying receiver is possible, but is neither officially supported nor easy to implement. For normal use, the USB receiver supplied should be used.
