Is there any difference between the two Astro a50s other than the connectivity between Ps4 and Xbox?

No, except for the Base Station, both headsets are exactly the same. But I read that although both headsets support Dobly Atmos, the PS4 version does not include an Atmos code/voucher. That's why I bought the XBOX version.
