Both should work. But take into account that the graphics memory is no longer really cooled. It has a small fan but only on one side, but often the VRAM is mounted around the GPU.
I have the H55 cooler on an RTX2070 and had to stick a small (homemade) aluminium heat sink on the graphics memory. And it's best to use liquid metal thermal paste for the GPU.
