Is this compatible with the MSI B460M-A Pro motherboard and with the corsair vengeance LPX 2x8gb ddr4 2933 ?

Yes that cpu is compatible with that motherboard but you will need a z490 chipset board if you want to run any ram faster than the standard 2666 speed defined by Intel.

No, you need a motherboard with the Intel 400-series chipset (f.e. Z490)
